Executive General Manager, Markets and Customer
Kurt Friedel joined Boral in January 2025 as Executive General Manager, Markets and Customer.
Kurt is an accomplished commercial leader, having spent the past 15 years in functional and divisional general management roles across multiple industries and with experience encompassing more than 10 countries.
He most recently held the role of Chief Commercial Officer with Border Express, a leading national express freight carrier. Prior to that he held executive positions with responsibility across multiple counties during his time with Maersk, one of the largest shipping lines in the world and Ixom, an industry leader in chemical manufacturing and distribution.
Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) from the University of Sydney, with a double-major in Organic Chemistry and Marine Biology.
