Supplier Code of Conduct
Boral is committed to meeting high ethical, social, sustainable and health & safety standards – and we expect the same from our suppliers. Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the principles and standards expected of our suppliers. All current and prospective suppliers are advised to review the Supplier Code of Conduct to ensure that relevant areas of their business and supply chain meet our expectations.
Small Supplier Payments
Boral recognises the importance of healthy cash flows for the small supplier community and their contribution to the overall success of our Australian economy. Suppliers are encouraged to review our Small Supplier Payment Policy and, where relevant, complete the necessary steps outlined in that policy to register for reduced payment terms.
Sustainable Procurement
Boral recognises that purchasing and supply decisions can have a social, economic and environmental impact. Through our procurement practices, we are incorporating social, economic and environmental considerations alongside price and quality.
Supplier Prequalification
All Boral contractors who perform tasks on a Boral controlled worksite are required to be registered and compliant with Boral’s Supplier Prequalification System. Boral’s Supplier Prequalification System is administered by Avetta to ensure those our minimum requirements (such as company licence and insurance requirements) are met. Note that Boral’s Supplier Prequalification System does not cover worker level requirements.
