We are supplying product for the construction of apartments on Collins Wharf. On this project Boral Recycling supplied Class 3 (Cl 3) as the base and followed up with a topping of Cl3 3%, both recycled/environmental blend products to build two massive crane pads running east to west. The crane pads will remain in place and in coming years have road built over the top.

The site was a little tricky to supply due to access. However, using our Melbourne Recycling JV (Delta) fleet of ‘flowcon’ trucks helped us greatly, and we managed to finish this section two days ahead of schedule.

Our Boral/Delta Recycling JV in Melbourne is a great success, especially as the demolition element of the program was completed by a long and trusted customer who in turn brought that material as inbound ‘raw feed’ to our local Recycling sites.

The next section of the precinct will consist of another 8,000 tonne of material which we hope it win as well.

Kudos to our Recycling sales team in Victoria – Arthur Hatzis and Guy Townsend – for all their inbound and outbound materials wins including this example.
