A day in the life of a Batcher

  • Capturing orders for concrete products, ensuring accurate entry into our system    
  • Partnering with Allocators and Production staff to understand and deliver status updates to customers    
  • Resolving a variety of customer queries and escalate to internal departments as required 

In this high touch role, you will develop strong foundations at Boral. You will learn about the construction industry and build strong relationships with our trusted customers. You will develop critical skills applicable to any role.

Training

  • 12-Week Training Program: Receive hands-on theoretical and practical training to build a solid foundation in plant operations. 
  • White Card Certification: Full training provided to help you obtain your White Card, essential for working on construction sites. 
  • Level 1: Batcher  
  • Batcher In-Charge  
  • Leadership courses (into plant manager)
  • Site Visits: Experience onsite tours of our operational plants, head office, and technical labs to connect with key stakeholders and see our work in action. 
  • Ongoing Support: Benefit from tailored training and coaching up to 12 months into your role to ensure your continued growth and success. 
  • Onsite Buddy/Mentor: Gain instant advice and support from a dedicated onsite buddy or mentor.
