Lucas Gregg, Teven Quarry supervisor was able to bring his kids to work last month. Oliver and Zoe Gregg joining their dad at the recent Teven Quarry Community Open Day.

The young ones spent time exploring the machinery, having a go at the guessing competitions and getting photos with mum and dad around the site. We think we might have two future loader operators in the making!

Our Teven Quarry is situated a few minutes from Ballina in Northern NSW. A community breakfast was arranged to spend time with our neighbours, discuss our upcoming modification application with Council as well as a future State Significant Development application that's being considered.

One of our guests Bev, has lived across from the quarry for 54 years, she was very interested to ride along with Quarry Manager Dick Pallisier, and get a behind the scenes tour inside the quarry. She has seen a lot of change at the site over the decades and had a great morning chatting with the team.

Dick found aerial photos of the quarry dating back to the 1950’s, until the present day. The group spotted the neighbouring properties and homes and talked about the development of the quarry over the years.

We also spoke about weed and dust management and blasting at the quarry, our current production details and some fun facts about the site.

Thanks Team Teven for all your efforts behind the scenes to make the morning such a huge success.
