Our team have been hard at work to get the new Bulleen Concrete Plant up and running.
Now in full-swing, the plant (pictured below) is supplying concrete to the North East Link (NEL) project in Melbourne, Victoria. The NEL project is a mega infrastructure project, including the construction of 6.5km long tunnels to fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network.
In early March, the plant delivered 1,581m3 of concrete, a record for the plant which has been used previously on two large projects, Barangaroo
South and NorthConnex, both in Sydney.
Concrete and Quarries South EGM Matt McKenzie recently paid a visit to the team, pictured.
Earlier this year, aerial footage captured an overview of the plant and a dramatic storm that swept over the plant.
