Boral Cement's filter sands are produced from high purity quartz creating an extremely hard, durable particle which resists physical degradation by attrition. The purity of our filter sands also enables them to resist chemical attack in the harshest conditions. Our filter sands are precisely graded to ensure consistent size and enable uniform filtration with low silt and clay content to reduce pre-washing and the ongoing waste of water.
