Vik Bansal is an experienced executive and non-executive director with a career spanning over 30 years.
Currently, Vik is a Non-Executive Director of Brambles Ltd (ASX:BXB) and is Chair of LGI Limited (ASX:LGI), a listed clean energy company. He also serves on the Board of Cement, Concrete and Aggregates Australia (CCAA) and Sunstate Cement.
Throughout his executive career, Vik has led companies to achieve increased shareholder returns through strategic and operational improvements in a diverse range of industries. As Chief Executive and Managing Director, Vik has successfully led the global industrial public-listed business through strategic growth, public M&A, and performance and sustainability improvements.
Before joining Boral, Vik held Chief Executive positions at InfraBuild (2021-2022) and Cleanaway (2015-2021). Previously, Vik was the Chief Operating Officer of NYSE-listed Valmont Industries, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska (2010-2014).
Throughout Vik’s executive career, he has held significant board roles, including with the National Waste & Recycling Industry Council (2017-2022), the Waste Management and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (2018-2022), and Disability Services Australia (2011-2018).
Vik is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Engineers Australia. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree with First Class Honors from NIT - Kurukshetra, India, an MBA (Technology Management) from Deakin University, an Advance Management Program from INSEAD, and a Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance.
