CityLink is the main artery connecting Melbourne’s south-east, north-west and western suburbs via the Tullamarine, West Gate, and Monash freeways and is the main gateway into the CBD.
CityLink is a toll road system of 22 kilometres of freeways, tunnels and the 30-metre-high Bolte Bridge across the Yarra River and Victoria Harbour built between 1996 and 2000.
A key feature of Boral's supply to the Domain and Burnley tunnels was a network of three on-site concrete plants to provide shotcrete and tanking concrete in particularly challenging geological and operating conditions. Boral also supplied specialised underground delivery equipment to meet the rigorous schedule of project.
