Boral’s Stab Plant at Widemere Recycling blends recycled road bases with cement and has helped pave the way for Western Sydney – from supply to major motorway construction projects, to large scale factory builds and even more recently as a major supplier to the new Western Sydney Airport.
Over the Christmas break the Stab Plant received a great upgrade, benefiting our customers, with a brand-new access road ensuring our customers have a comfortable, safe and seamless experience when picking up material from the Stab Plant. The upgrade also reduces product losses and has supported our site operations licence to expand to 24/7.
Matthew Hayes, Stab Plant Operator – Widemere Recycling, who not only operates the plant but also engages with our customers on site was impressed with the upgrade and the further benefits it will bring to our site and customers:
“I have a great management team around me that make things happen. Providing me with a safe working environment and helping me to ensure minimum downtime and delivery on time.”
Kudos to all in our team who have been part of this project and our day-to-day operations nationally.
